Imbolc- The Approaching End of Winter
Imbolc is the ancient Celtic halfway point between winter solstice and the spring equinox. The time of quickening and new life is at hand. We can see the days grow longer. This is a time for gentleness and nurturing.
At this crossroad between winter and spring, we don't know what twists and turns lie ahead in the year that has begun to unfold. It is the time to stop and reflect; to discern what were the gifts of the darkness that we are leaving as we are invited into a new and growing light that shows the path ahead.
Life has many twists and turns, time of darkness and times of growing light. Come and join us in this special ritual that acknowledges this crossroads of seasons, both in nature and in our own lives.
